Reminders:
*NDA students are required to bring their school IDs and all guests must have a
picture ID as well.
*Once you leave the Tundra Lodge you will not be allowed back in.
Bag Drop Off and Valuables Check
Doors open at 6:30 PM We ask that you drive down to the lower level, park and enter through the conference center entrance. You will drop off your bags containing your Post Ball apparel on the lower level. We will take care of them for you and lock them until Post Ball begins. Then, take the elevators upstairs to the dining room. We will have people guiding your route.
We will also be offering a couple of different changing room options on the lower level so you can prepare for Post Ball activities. There will be restrooms as well as male and female changing areas. There will be racks available to hang your dresses and tuxes. We are suggesting that you bring garment bags and hangers with you and leave them with your baggage until Post Ball. This room will be a secure facility, but if you feel you have valuables that require more secure storage, or that you require access to, there will be a “valuables” check area available to you beginning at 6:30 and available throughout the evening. No shoes can be checked in at the valuables station.
Tux Info
Be sure to go in around three weeks prior to the Ball to reserve your tux for the event. We suggest that you put a slip of paper with your name in your jacket pocket, that way if you take your jacket off during the night you can easily find it again. As you can guess, they all tend to look the same!
Tux rental from Men's Wearhouse includes complimentary on-site pick up at midnight. Bring your tux bag with you and know that it will all be taken care of and you will not have to return it on your own time.
*At this time we are unsure of the plans of other tux rental services. Please check with them about their pick up intentions.
Basic Info About the Ball
Once again Student Government is pleased to offer Academy Ball and Post Ball Activities at the same venue. We will dine, dance and swim our way through loads of fun all at the Tundra Lodge. If you just care to join us for Post Ball activities you can do that too!
